Rick’s Pro-Truck (RPT) installed an Aeroz-America Fuelscoop on one of the Hino 258 box trucks in their fleet. After 3 months of driving, this is what they had to say:
The first thing I immediately noticed is that the truck now has so much more power. Due to the reduction in aerodynamic drag that you told us to expect, I easily maintained my speed up hills that would previously slow me down.
The overall ride is much smoother with the Fuelscoop installed.
The best part – my drivers could never complete their out-and-back route without stopping to refuel on the way home. Now they are getting back to the warehouse with over twenty gallons left in the tank. This is a saving of over 23% in fuel costs for the company.
We’re all very happy and impressed with the results; they certainly exceed our expectations.
We look forward to boosting our fuels savings even further as you upfit the rest of our fleet.
AllPro Distributing also installed an Aeroz-America Fuelscoop on one of the Hino 258 box trucks in their fleet. Here are their findings after 4 months:
The overall ride is considerably smoother than our other box trucks that do not have the Fuelscoop installed.
The average fuel consumption on this truck went from 8.47 mpg to 10.11 mpg; an improvement of 19.4% that can only be attributed to the installation of the Fuelscoop.
We are delighted with the improved truck handling, the fuel savings and the reduction in our fleet costs. Thanks for introducing us to this product.
Aerotrans Australia is pleased to announce that as a part of its continued investment in the USA it has appointed Mike Visser as CEO of its US subsidiary Aeroz-America.
Mike has spent the last 16 years as President of SuperSprings, an American based international suspension manufacturing company where he jointly built an idea into a multi-million-dollar success story.
Mike recognizes that truck operators, from single unit owner-drivers to large fleet managers, are concerned and focused on cost saving, and the methods by which savings can be achieved.
With fuel second only to labor as the most significant trucking operational expense, Mike is excited to spread the message that a 10% or greater overall fuel saving is available to all relevant fleets by installing a Fuelscoop roof mounted truck aerodynamic device.
Mike is particularly excited to be joining at a time where Aerotrans Australia (trading in the US as Aeroz-America), is at the later stage of developing Fuelscoop models specifically designed for medium duty US domestic trucks, starting with the Freightliner M2 range, and the MV International.
Aerotrans is an Australian based international company that has been manufacturing and distributing aerodynamic products to Original Equipment truck & trailer manufacturers, dealers, fleets and individual operators for over thirty years.
If you’re an old friend, a recent business acquaintance, or simply an fleet operator who’s interested in reviewing and reducing your truck operating costs, Mike would love to hear from you. He can be reached direct at firstname.lastname@example.org or (805) 453-2826
